An enthusiastic, energetic, but careful teacher who genuinely seeks to help others through yoga learning. She feels it a great privilege to be able to help others through the system of Iyengar yoga, and is proud to be able to be an active member of the Iyengar yoga community and the IY (UK) association.

She devotes her life to yoga and also to her family and 2 children. She places great emphasis on getting the balance right, between home and health, personal development and the ability to help and nurture others.

Lisa is delighted that she passed her Junior Intermediate level 1 exam in March 2013 and Level 2 In 2014. She continuously works on her own development and may try for Intermediate level 3 very soon.

She enjoys working on postures and the personal challenges yoga and life bring. She trains weekly through personal practise, regular class attendance, training, workshops, philosophy discussion and attends Iyengar yoga conventions, where wonderful Senior and Intermediate Iyengar teachers also share their knowledge.

Through yoga, Lisa has found that the stresses of everyday life can be managed and viewed with renewed perspective. Yoga helped her with injuries, has in the past seen her through illness and personal challenges. Lisa also valued her practise during pregnancy and continuing through motherhood.

Lisa believes that  'the yoga journey to Wholeness, Inner peace and ultimate freedom', (c. BKS Iyengar) is an exciting idea, and is passionate in sharing the benefits of the postures and philosophy, as she herself has learned from others.
