Lisa still loves to guide students towards empowered knowledge of themselves, to point them in the right direction and align the body to find the full potential of each person.
She welcomes you to her warm, clean, bespoke yoga space under the boughs of the beloved 200 year old oak tree which protects the space beneath...

(This is the blurb I send out for publicity, so I thought I would share it with you here!)
Lisa is an enthusiastic, energetic & careful teacher who genuinely seeks to help others through yoga learning. She feels it a great privilege to be able to help others through the system of Iyengar yoga, and is proud to be able to be an active member of the Iyengar yoga community and IY (UK).
She devotes her life to yoga and also to her family and 2 children. She places great emphasis on getting the balance right, between home and health, personal development and the ability to help and nurture others.
Lisa is delighted that she passed several exams leading to Level 3 in 2015.
She enjoys regularly working on postures and the personal challenges yoga and life bring. Lisa trains weekly through personal practise, regular class attendance with senior teachers, training, workshops, Pranayama classes and philosophy discussion.
Lisa attends Iyengar yoga conventions, where wonderful Senior Iyengar teachers from India such as Abhijata Iyengar, Jawahar Bhanghera and many senior British teachers also share their knowledge.
Through yoga, Lisa has found that the stresses of everyday life can be managed and viewed with renewed perspective. Yoga helped her recover from debilitationg injuries & has seen her through illness, mental health issues and personal challenges.
She valued her practise during 2 pregnancies and subsequent recovery from unaviodable ceasarians, continuing into motherhood with a neurodiverse family.
Lisa believes that 'the yoga journey to wholeness, inner peace and ultimate freedom', (BKS Iyengar) is an exciting one and is passionate in sharing the benefits of the postures and philosophy, as she herself has learned from others.
